Katılım Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş. was established on 17.12.2013 and registered in the trade registry according to the permission of the Undersecretariat of Treasury, Insurance General Directorate dated 27.11.2013 and numbered 18631, and permission of the Ministry of Customs and Trade dated 13.12.2013 and numbered 8659. The establishment was announced in the Turkish Trade Gazette dated 23/12/2013 and numbered 8470.

Katılım Emeklilik ve Hayat A.Ş was born from the alliance of Al Baraka Türk Katılım Bankası A.Ş. and Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası A.Ş. In this respect, it is a first in its field. It draws attention as the distinguished company of the sector with its innovative approach to interest-free insurance, modern and technological investments, and customer-oriented service understanding.
